There is no need for any special therapy when the kidney stone is tiny and isolated and hasn’t led to an infection or blockage disorder. If the size of kidney stone is considerably large, the required medical procedures must be performed which are including dissolving the stone chemically, expelling the stone via endoscope, stone removal through the skin, lithotripsy using ultrasound waves from outside the body (ESWL) and in rare cases open surgery. In urology department of Sajjad (Shahram) hospital, kidney stones get fragmented with the aid of radiation to pass out from the urinary system. The ingestion of the following drugs should be avoided from one week before the process gets started: aspirin, indomethacin, piroxicam and sodium diclofenac.
Set an Appointment
The patient should be checked thoroughly by a urologist and then he will be given a reference letter and with having that letter in hand he can make an appointment in lithotripsy department.
